Lyndsay and Rod had a gorgeous Baltimore Micro-Wedding at one of my favorite coffee shops and intimate wedding venues, Artifact Coffee.
Lyndsay always knew she wanted a smaller wedding “Something about sharing a special moment with the closest people in my life is so much more appealing and special to me. Our special day will be with our parents, siblings, godparents, and our last living grandparent.”
We started at hotel downtown that overlooked the Baltimore harbor where they got ready with close family and friends. I loved that Lyndsay took part of that time to write out her vows and that their sweet pup, Winston, got to join in on the fun with getting ready for the big day too! Dog-friendly hotels are such a nice perk if you want to include your dog in some of the wedding festivities.
Lyndsay and Rod decided to share a first look with each other by the water outside their hotel with the classic Domino Sugars sign in the background. Their parents also were there to witness which was really intimate and special.
Lyndsay & Rod wanted to embrace the industrial chic vibes of Baltimore and we took some of their wedding portraits in the Clipper Mill neighborhood by their wedding venue. Such a fun and unique backdrop for their Baltimore micro-wedding.
After portraits, they gathered with family and close friends for an outdoor ceremony outside the beautiful and rustic brick building. They cozied up the space (for an outdoor November wedding!) with blankets on the benches and candles and greenery scattered around beautifully. Even their pup Winston joined them up front for a bit. One of my favorite moments from the ceremony was them passing around their rings to be blessed by family members which was really sweet.
After the ceremony it was time to celebrate! They had an intimate family-style dinner with the delicious food provided by Artifact and Woodberry Kitchen catering which is always top notch. A few different family members shared heartwarming toasts which had everyone in the room with a few tears in their eyes. After dinner, the couple cut their cake and had a first dance as well as individual dances with their parents and some fun with the rest of the group!
Even though there was only a small group of 20 or so guests, they loved having live music and sharing some of the standard wedding day traditions with those closest to them.
