I met Grace + Chris (and their adorable dog Wynnie) for their engagement session in their Clipper Mill, Baltimore neighborhood. I loved being able to capture this season for them in a location that was so special to them. Wanting their session to feel very “at home” this was the perfect spot- since it’s been the backdrop to so much of their love story so far- their first home, first dog-baby, and getting engaged. They are both so fun, dynamic, and chic as all get-out.
Since both of them are huge Christmas- loving people, it was so fun to hear about their holiday engagement. They share a tradition where they each get to open one gift on Christmas Eve and when Grace went looking for hers in an empty stocking, she turned around to Chris proposing with a ring! Hard to top that gift right?! The love for Christmas runs deep in their family and their parents even got married on Christmas Eve almost 30 years ago. So it couldn’t be more fitting for them to be planning a beautiful, winter wedding celebration at The Winslow in Baltimore this December. I can’t wait for all of the holiday joy and cozy, romantic elements adding to their day.
Until then, here are a few of my favorites from their industrial-chic engagement session in Clipper Mill.
