Natalie and Troy’s Woodberry Kitchen wedding felt like stepping into a little Tuscan village. They envisioned a wedding that was personal and without the hustle and bustle of normal everyday life. They wanted to mirror the quiet awe they felt while traveling through Italy, where they got engaged in an olive grove. That memory shaped so much of their day, from the olive branches woven into the florals to the citrus touches and soft, organic decor. Every detail was a nod to something meaningful.

Woodberry Kitchen is one of those venues that already has so much character. There’s exposed brick, high ceilings, arched stonework, and just the right mix of industrial charm and cozy warmth. It has its own industrial Baltimore feel, while also being chic. You can add as much or as little to the space to make it feel unique to you.
The in-house team is incredible. From the locally-sourced food and drinks to the seamless vendor collaboration, the entire experience was as easy and enjoyable as it was intentional.
Natalie and Troy wanted a smaller wedding that felt upscale yet comfortable, where they could actually spend time with every guest and savor the day at their own pace. Woodberry’s layout, staff, and food made that possible!

For larger weddings, the main room can host up to 120 people, while the more intimate Tavern space (available at select times) is ideal for smaller gatherings of up to 30 people. Upstairs, there’s a private lounge and bridal suite connected to a grand staircase.
Beyond the beautiful architecture, what truly sets Woodberry apart is its farm-to-table menu. The culinary team sources ingredients from the finest organic and sustainable farms in the region, featuring seasonal produce, pastured meats, locally caught seafood, and artisan-made cheeses, oils, and vinegars.
The venue also offers self-parking for up to 30 cars, with valet options and nearby transportation recommendations available for convenience.
For weddings of 100 or more guests (or any size with an on-site ceremony), they require a professional planner or day-of coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly. Their in-house coordination team can also step in to assist if you prefer an all-in-one experience.

Natalie and Troy got engaged in an olive grove in Italy, so when it came time to get married, they knew they wanted to recreate some of that wonder and awe back home. The space was filled with olive branches, greenery, and citrus touches that instantly transported everyone to the Mediterranean.
Their florist, who works closely with the Woodberry Kitchen team, designed organic, effortless arrangements full of texture and warmth. Their tablescapes were lush with artichokes, lemons, pears, and greenery that felt like it was gathered straight from an Italian garden. Paired with candlelight, crocheted lace from Natalie’s great-grandmother, and the natural charm of the venue, the whole aesthetic turned out exactly as they envisioned.
Natalie and Troy had an intimate wedding with just over 40 people. That made the entire day feel much more intentional and close-knit. Before the ceremony, they shared a first look and exchanged private vows.
When it was time for the ceremony, her dad walked Natalie down the aisle. The ceremony took place in front of Woodberry’s rustic archway space, surrounded by lush greenery and simple floral accents that matched the couple’s wedding theme.
And in true Natalie and Troy fashion, the night wasn’t too serious, because alongside the candlelit tables and lush florals was a ping-pong table. The bride and groom squared off for a match, and later, the groom and his mom had their own round, too.
The rest of the celebration was a beautiful blur of meaningful toasts, a family-style dinner, and dances.
Every couple has that one word that sums up what they want from their wedding day. For Natalie and Troy, it was ‘connection’. They wanted to feel the same awe and wonder they felt wandering through Italy, surrounded by beauty, good food, and the people they love most.
Woodberry Kitchen is an incredible choice if you’re dreaming of an intimate celebration with unforgettable food and an effortlessly chic setting. Whether you want to lean into an Italian-inspired look like Natalie and Troy or keep things minimalist and modern, this venue gives you space to make it your own.
